English Christian Devotion | Psalm 115:11 |  Our Help and Shield | Pastor Job

Here we find that the Psalmist is encouraging everyone to trust in God for when they learn to trust Him, He helps them and He becomes their shield in protecting from danger and harm. 

- Trusting God is something that we all continuously grow in our Christian life, and as we continue to trust God in the small things it becomes easier to trust God even with the difficult things. 

-At the same time I want to I encourage you to look at life’s challenges and adversities as an opportunity for you to grow in trusting God and in His word. 

-For when you trust God, He helps you to overcome the challenges in your life and He protects you from danger and harm. 

- Perhaps you are worried and afraid with what you are going through in your life right now. Instead of giving room for fear and worry, trust God that His going to take care of it and that He will help you and He is your shield.

-In the Bible we can see God helping and protecting His children many times, read those stories so that you can be encouraged.

-At the same time look back in your own life, there would have been instances where God would have helped you and did a miracle in your life, remember them so that you can be strengthened and derive confidence from that. 

- Be encouraged, trust God and He will help you and He will shield you from harm and danger.

In Today's Christian Devotion, we find that the Psalmist here is expressing about how he is waiting on God for deliverance.  The Psalmist had confidence in God that God will surely deliver him.
