Tamil Christian Devotion | Sangeetham 119:105 | God’s word our lamp | Pastor Job



  God's word is our guide that is why the Psalmist talks about God's word being a lamp to his feet and a light for his path. -The same applies to us as followers of Jesus Christ, His words guides us on how to live a life that is pleasing in the eyes of God. -Life can only be traveled forward and not backward, therefore as we encounter new challenges and face new situations, we need God's help to deal with those things. -God is faithful and that is why He has given His word in our hands, to help us. -interesting how the Psalmist uses the word lamp and light, both of the words purpose is to help people navigate in the darkness. -His word shines light in the area of darkness in our life, that means the things that God want us to change and to grow and become mature in Christ Jesus. a) change of habits b) change of words that we use and so on. -His word also shows us the way in which we should take in every conflict and argument, that means the way of forgiveness, way of compassion, way of love . When we live our life the way God intends us to live we find that , we prosper, we are blessed, we are protected from satan. Tamil Christian Devotion on Psalm 126:5-6 In today's christian Devotion we find that the Psalmist here is talking about how those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. The bible is very clear about sowing and reaping, without sowing there will not be any reaping in our life. So those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy! Sowing is not an easy and fun work. Particularly when we look at a farmer's life we can see this, it involves a lot of hard work. In Today's Christian Devotion, we find that the Psalmist here is expressing about how he is waiting on God for deliverance.  The Psalmist had confidence in God that God will surely deliver him. He paints a vivid picture about how a watchman waits for the morning sun while being in the dark in the following verse.
